Is climbing Mt. Daraitan good for beginners?
Not really but it can be with proper preparations. What made the trail hard was its steep trail. It was an all assault hike, with its slope more than 80 degrees, that might feel steep to those not used to hiking. During our hike, it rained… kinda hard, making the trail not only steep but also muddy and very slippery.

At the Rocky side of Mt. Daraitan |
It almost killed me several times on the way up (esp. on the way down) ,😭triggered my fear on possibly falling from a steep cliff & gave me couple of bruises and cuts. It took us about 3 hours to reach the peak and another 4 on the way down but the view from the summit and the river that awaits us down the mountain were definitely breathtaking.
